Friday Worship
Church Café @ 7:00 pm
Currently, either Pastor Jason Jesuroga will be expositing the book of Colossian or Pastor Emilio Ramos will be expositing the book of John. Please join us for a time of Bible study and worship. Friday night offers an extended time of worship and praise immediately following the message. We encourage the entire family to stay for this time of worship and prayer.
Our desire is to be balanced in all that we do. Our worship service on Sunday consists of about 90 minutes (aside from Sunday Adult Class). We first have a time of worship through song. The style and form is blended (depending on the worship team it may vary from week to week both contemporary and traditional). We break to excuse any children 7 and under to be checked into class (this is optional as we do encourage family worship in our services), we take a moment to greet one another, we run through some brief announcements, pray and continue to worship through preaching. In each service we also have special provision for nursing mothers.

We do not see the end of the service as the time to leave the premises but rather a great opportunity to fellowship, network, and enjoy being with God’s people and reflect on the message. Scripture has much to say about "one another" dynamics in the body of Christ. We see the post-service time as an excellent time to get plugged in and meet the people of SJCC.

Sovereign Joy Kids
On Sunday's our children’s ministry is currently offering classes for 7 and under, and on Friday's for 3 and under. This is strictly optional but we do want to encourage more family integrated worship. Sovereign Joy Kids are currently going through the "Kids Desiring God" children’s ministry curriculum provided by Desiring God ministries. Parents are encouraged every week to review the memory verse and themes of each Sunday lesson with their kids (this information is provided weekly in our Sunday bulletin). It is truly amazing to see our kids grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 3.18).
